I’m sorry about the dearth of posts. If you need an update, I made it up to Mira Vista last week, and over did the sun. Whoops.
Anyhow, I read today of the death of Victor Flanagan, also known as the Naked Nomad. Apparently, he had already been declared dead after losing touch with his sister years ago. He was found dead in a canoe in Papua New Guinea.
Flanagan had inherited millions, but chose to be closer to nature by ditching his clothes and wandering the countryside. Sounds like a good life. Or, as Iva Skotch of Gadling said:
Naked Nomad really isn’t that different from multimillionaires, after all. Multi-million beach front property is only fun if you can do nothing all day, but walk around naked.
PS - I saw a couple of online publications show the picture above, but with something blocking the sarong. Even though he was wearing something, they figured they should block it? How does that work?
